1What is an entreprenuer?

At ENYA we thing that there are many (differing) definitions! Some people believe it is anyone who has started their own business; other believe that business has to be original and unique; and other people may argue that being an entrepreneur is simply being enterprising. To ENYA, being an entrepreneur is having “ownership” over a business or social enterprise

2Can I make a taxable deduction to ENYA?

At this time, ENYA does not have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, which means that your donation is not tax deductible. We are looking to obtain this status in the near future. Please note that there are other ways to support ENYA other than through donations. Contact us for information on how to become a Gold Supporter, Star Supporter or Community Partner.

3What kind of organisation is ENYA?

INYA is a not for profit public company limited by guarantee. It has a small Board of Directors that appoint people as necessary, two Board Consultants who advise the Board, and a membership network of enterprising young Australians. ENYA is funded by Government grants, corporate contributions and other donations.

4How do I start a Project?

Have you got a great idea that would benefit other young people in enterprise? If so, you could (individually or as a team) start your own ENYA project. We’ll support you with some of the resources you need, like a project page, some funding and assistance with promotion. Think up an idea, and put together a basic costing (budget), timeline and resource list. Email your idea to ENYA and we�ll assess its viability and work with you to develop it into a project. Please note that not all submissions are guaranteed to become an ENYA project.

5What is the purpose of ENYA?

ENYA’s mission is to support and promote the active participation of young people in enterprise, in an ethical and sustainable manner. Put simply, we are an organisation that promotes youth enterprise, as well as supporting young Australian social and business entrepreneurs. We fulfill our mission through activities such as advocacy, research, projects, connection and support.
